Just a warning, this review will most likely be me just gushing and gushing and gushing. So if you're nauseated by the end of it, you've been forewarned.
From the very first chapter, I was completely invested in this book. Cassie was every bit the bad ass I expected her to be and more. I enjoyed the camaraderie she had with her fellow firefighters in Texas and eventually in Massachusetts, and I didn’t mind one bit that she didn’t fully believe in love. (which is based on an incident that occurred in her past)
What do you get when you put together two Hollywood Agents + a La La Land back drop? A comedic, career-focused, competitive romance story that is sure to get you laughing. Plus doses of women empowerment and equality in the workplace never hurts.
