At this point, I’m not sure why I don’t have all of Victoria Schwab/V.E. Schwab's books on my shelf. One of the things I enjoy most about her books (I’ve read Vicious & The Monsters of Verity duology* so far) is that her endings are somehow satisfying yet leave you yearning for more. They also might crush your soul but we need more endings like that out into the world.

This book does not get the recognition it deserves. I usually—make that never— come across a book where I have generally no issues with anything. Even my beloved Throne of Glass series and A Court of Thorns and Roses series have some problematic issues.
