The Great: My absolute favorite aspect of this book is the characters. I loved how relatable the main character, Azere is, how badass her younger sister Efe is, how loving and caring her cousin (who's more like a brother to Azere) Jacob is. And how complex yet simplistic, the other main character and love interest, Rafael is. Not to mention Azere's best friend Christina! Their friendship felt most genuine especially during some of the dramatic parts of the story. And the fact that Christina and Azere have rocky moments when they're not seeing eye to eye, even with the best of intentions, was absolutely amazing to read.

Hearts on Hold – ARC Review
Okay, you know it’s coming! Charish’s first book, The Write Escape is literally my number one book of 2019. Would you expect any less than gushing praise to come your way regarding Hearts on Hold? You have been warned!
Say You Still Love Me – ARC Review
Synopsis - Goodreads Life is a mixed bag for Piper Calloway. On the one hand, she’s a twenty-nine-year-old VP at her dad’s multibillion-dollar real estate development firm, and living the high single life with her two best friends in a swanky downtown penthouse. On the other hand, she’s considered a pair of sexy legs in … Continue reading Say You Still Love Me – ARC Review
How to Hack a Heartbreak – ARC Review
Female coder badassery might just be the best thing about this book! Dating Apps might just be the worst/best thing for a twenty-something year old like me. JerkAlert might just be the smartest not-yet invented idea yet. Mel Strickland is one word is my, shero!
You’ve Been Volunteered – ARC Review
You’ve Been Volunteered is a continuation of Laurie Gelman’s first book, Class Mom which I immediately fell in love with back in 2017. And you wouldn't believe, the joy I felt when I discovered, we'd be graced with a second book in the hilarious debauchery of Jenn Dixon's life.
Call It What You Want – ARC Review
Rob was once the quintessential High School student-athlete. That was until his father was accused of embezzling money from people in their community and, his peers treated Rob like he was the one responsible or at least he was in on it. Maegan wasn’t at the top of the high school chain but she sure wasn’t loved by many after she cheated on her SATs. Which resulted in those students who were taking the test with her, having to retake the SATs.
Fix Her Up – ARC Review
Travis Ford and Georgie Castle are both lovable characters who I really enjoyed getting to know. Her quick wit and his really really steamy sexy talk, made for quite an entertaining read.
Serious Moonlight – ARC Review
Bennett’s writing style is equal parts captivating as it is informative. I’m not sure the length or extent of research she does for each story but it completely shows. What I appreciate the most is that she’s somehow mastered the art of appealing to those of us who love more character-driven stories and to those who favor plot and more plot-driven stories.
Breaking His Rules – ARC Review
Slow burn romances be damned because this book was hot hot hot! And I loved every tantalizing minute of it. The plot may be somewhat cliché and predictable. But it had all the aspects of a good romance that was equal parts sexual tension and an emotional rollercoaster.
March ’19 Wrap Up
Hey there Booklovers! How did your reading months go? For this month, I'd decided to do something different. I asked my followers on bookstagram (@kimbookwyrm) to help me choose my books for the month of March. I unfortunately didn't get to finish all the books chosen but I definitely stuck to my monthly TBR list … Continue reading March ’19 Wrap Up
